Tapped: Spread the word about the world water crisis

The Tapped DVD goes on sale this Monday, March 22nd just in time for World Water Day. Because the movie's producers are taking on some of the media's biggest advertisers (Nestle, Coke and Pepsi) they're having a hard time getting the word out about the film's release. In fact, one talk show host was recently banned from talking about the film because Pepsi is her largest advertiser.

If you've seen Tapped, you know that bottled water issue is more than just a waste issue - it touches on the world water crisis, the fact that chemical companies tamper with the products we buy and the social injustice that effects minority communities across America. 

So what can you do?  Help get the word out about Tapped. Check out their website for Get off the Bottle Tour dates and follow the team as they travel across country to collect pledges from people to reduce their bottled water use. Bring your empty disposables and they'll even trade you for a Klean Kanteen. The site will be updated daily once World Water Day kicks off - so share the info and videos you find there with your friends and family!
